ABOUT

As a teen, I worked one summer as a staff member at Camp Old Indian.  Twilight, as it was called, was the time between dinner and the evening campfire.  You could do whatever you wanted and it was quite the peaceful time watching the sun go down. Later in my teens, I loved enjoying twilight after bailing hay all day and finally getting to rest as it got dark.  I've always enjoyed that time of the day.

Fast forward 28 years and I made some candles on a whim in 2024 just to figure out how to do it.  The candle making took off organically and I started making them for friends and family.  Diego (pictured) quickly became quality control which seemed like a natural move since he retired from being an Explosive Detection Canine.  I've been in law enforcement for over 26 years and am a former Public Safety Bomb Technician (B02-07), explosive breacher, explosive detection canine handler and now, a fire investigator.  Yes, I see the irony between my current job and making candles!
